Former WBA world champion Luis 'El Nica' Concepcion (25-3, 20KOs) is planning to steal the show on Saturday night at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama. Concepcion will face undefeated Colombian contender Pablo Carrillo (9-0-1, 4KOs).

"I will not perform in the main event, but I will be part of the attraction that night by securing a victory," predicted the 26 year old boxer.

The headliner will showcase hometown favorite Ricardo 'The Mathematician' Nunez (24-2, 20 KO) against IBF flyweight champion Moruti "Baby Face" Mthalane (28-2, 19 KO) of South Africa. Nunez is the mandatory challenger.

"I want everyone to come and support me and support 'The Mathematician' because this is a major card," he said.

Concepcion hopes to celebrate that night with Nunez. The two fighters are sparring with each other for Saturday's doublheader.

'I know Ricardo well and he's always in excellent condition because we train together, and I hope and trust that he wins the world title," said Concepcion, right after a sparring session with Nunez.
