Utilita Arena, Birmingham - Conah Walker (12-2-1, 4 KOs) pulled off a stunner by battering and stopping undefeated welterweight prospect Cyrus Pattinson (6-1, 4 KOs) in eight rounds.

It was give and take in the first two rounds. Pattinson was hurt by a body shot in the second and then took numerous shots before firing back on even terms. The left eye of Walker was cut and started to bleed.

In the third, a solid combination of punches sent Pattinson down to the mat. Pattinson was firing back, but he was once again rocked near the end of the round from heavy blows to the head and body.

Pattinson was able to recover in the fourth by boxing, but he took a lot of punches and suffered a flash knockdown in the fifth. They were brawling away in the sixth with back-and-forth exchanges. Pattinson had the edge, but then Walker came firing back with heavy shots of his own. Pattinson suffered another flash knockdown, which appeared to be more of a slip.

In the seventh, Pattinson was standing and trading with Walker. Pattinson was getting hurt by heavy blows but continued to fire back. During the eight, Pattinson was rocked several times to the head and body. He was holding on often but eating a good number of punches throughout the round.

The corner of Pattinson stopped the fight before the start of the ninth.

In a heavyweight fight, Solomon Dacres (7-0, 2 KOs) boxed his way to a ten round decision win over Chris Thompson (12-5-1, 7 KOs). The fireworks were lacking in a fight where Dacres simply did more.

Junior welterweight Khaleel Majid (11-0, 3 KOs) picked up an eight round decision win over Alessandro Fersula (9-5). The sole score by the referee was 78-73. Majid dropped Fersula at the very end of the first round but was unable to finish him off as the fight played out.

In a rematch, super featherweights Jordan Flynn (9-0-1, 1 KO) and Kane Baker (19-10-2, 1 KO) fought to an eight round draw. The score was 94-94. The fight was a war, with plenty of back and forth exchanges.

A point deduction to Flynn was the difference in the scoring. The referee handed in the sole scorecard of 94-94.

Their fight was a rematch of an April encounter, which was won by Flynn on points, 77-75.

On the undercard, Sahil Khan, Abraheem Sulaimaan, Muhammad Mustafa Ali, and Aaron Bowen picked up wins.
