Boxing returns to the Inland Empire of Southern California tonight.

Junior featherweights Chris Martin and Daniel Roman square off in an eight round bout at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Calif.

The bout will headline a five-bout ‘Path to Glory’ card, presented by Thompson Boxing Promotions. The event coincides with the 15th anniversary when the Southern California-based company promoted their first show.

Martin (28-5-3, 9 KOs) has not fought since December 20th, when he lost a one-sided decision to Gary Russell Jr. Avalos has lost three of his last four bouts.

Roman (14-2-1, 5 KOs) has won his last six bouts in a row. In his last bout on April 24, Roman scored a one-sided eight round decision win over Giovanni Caro.

Former junior featherweight contender Efrain Esquivias will fight Jose Haro in a six round bout. Esquivias (17-3-1, 10 KOs) has not fought in over in over 13 months, when he lost a majority decision to Ruben Tamayo. Haro (8-1-1, 6 KOs) is winless in last two bouts and will only be fighting for the third time in his career outside of Utah, where he currently resides.

Popular featherweight Juan Reyes will fight former fringe contender Roberto Castaneda in a six round bout. Reyes (12-1-3, 2 KOs) is unbeaten in his last 10 bouts, while Castaneda (21-9-1, 15 KOs) has lost eight of his last nine bouts.

Two more bouts round out the card.
