Three division world champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (45-0, 38KOs) has made it clear that he won't allow himself to be affected by the verbal provocations of Mexican Carlos "Prince" Cuadras (35-0-1, 27KOs), who holds the WBC super flyweight championship.

The two champions will collide next Saturday night at the historic Inglewood Forum in California, in anticipated clash to be broadcast to the entire country of Mexico by Televisa Deportes, and in America by HBO.

"Cuadras can say whatever he wants. I am not bothered by what he says. He is a cheerful fellow who sometimes does not measure up to his words and if he wants to try the chocolate, we are really going to make sure he tastes the chocolate," said Gonzalez, who holds the WBC's flyweight world title.

A few days ago Cuadras warned Gonzalez that he not only has the medicine to beat him, but he has the entire pharmacy at his disposal.

"Cuadras is an excellent fighter who claims to have the necessary medicine to beat me, but I doubt it because although it is a duel of punchers I'm the one who has the power in his knuckles and I will impose my conditions regardless as I am sure that he will not be able to take a lot of punishment," Gonzalez said.

The skilled puncher, 29 years old and trained by Arnulfo Obando, said the worst mistake would be to trust in the words of Cuadras and be enraged by him.

Cuadras is motivated by the fact that winning his fourth world title in a fourth weight division would surpass the achievements of his idol and compatriot Alexis Arguello, who was also the first world champion born in Nicaragua. No fighter in the history of Nicaragua has captured four world titles in four weight divisions.
