Derek Chisora has now revealed his new trainer, as Steve Broughton will be working his corner.

This coming Saturday night, Chisora will be facing Olympic bronze medal winner David Price at the O2 Arena in London. The contest will be part of the Regis Prograis-Josh Taylor undercard, and carried by DAZN and Sky Sports Box Office.

For his big knockout victory in July over Artur Szpilka, Chisora used veteran coach David Coldwell, but the two parted ways due to a scheduling conflict related to the training camp location.

Broughton previously worked Josh Taylor, Carl Frampton and David Haye, while acting as a second to both Shane McGuigan and veteran Cuban Ismael Salas.

"Derek has put the work in and he is ready, but he cannot afford to look past this fight," said Broughton to Sky Sports. "Price has all the tools to make this a very difficult night, so Derek needs to be on top of his game come fight night."

Chisora has retained his working relationship with strength and conditioning coach Ruben Tabares.

"You know me, I like to surprise people. I've been working with Steve for a while now but it was on a need to know basis. The surprises will continue and on Saturday night David Price won't know what's about to be unleashed on him," Chisora said.

The contest with Price is a true crossroads encounter. A loss by either boxer will certainly send him spiraling down in the rankings. Chisora was originally scheduled to face former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, who withdrew with illness. Price accepted the fight on late notice.
