Dereck Chisora is ready to hold rematch negotiations with Dillian Whyte - after both of them had their upcoming fights called off on the same day.

Chisora was scheduled to face Robert Helenius in Finland on May 27 in a rematch - and Whyte was set to return a week later, at the O2 Arena in London, in a fight with Mariusz Wach.

Whyte withdrew with a foot injury, while the reasons behind Chirosa's fight falling apart are not exactly clear. Chisora lost a controversial decision to Helenius in 2011.

Whyte and Chisora waged war for twelve rounds last December - in one of the most grueling heavyweight fights in years. Whyte walked away with a close points decision, but there were many who felt Chisora had done enough to win the fight.

A rematch appeared to be on the cards, but they couldn't agree on the terms.

Chisora is ready to resume negotiations for a showdown as soon as possible - and he believes the rematch will be a one-sided drubbing where Whyte will not see the final round.

"I'm down for the fight. I'm ready to talk to Eddie Hearn if he wants to," Chisora exclusively told Sky Sports. "I want to do the fight. It's about Dillian Whyte, if he wants to do the fight?

"Listen, it's a simple fact, the last fight was great. My belief is he didn't win it. He gets in the ring with me for this second fight, I'm going to destroy him. There is no two ways about it, I'm going to destroy him."

"This fight with Robert Helenius got cancelled but it don't matter, we move on," said Chisora. "This fight isn't happening, so how about we just do this. I'm in shape, he's in shape, we need to do it. I can fight in July."
