Convention Center Surman Villa de las Flores, Coacalco, México - In the main event of the evening, Yessica Chavez (21-3-3, 4KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over a game Melissa McMorrow (9-5-3, 1KO) to capture the vacant WBC International flyweight championship.

Dangerous rising prospect Rey Vargas (21-0, 18KOs), who is trained by Nacho Beristain, stopped Daniel Ferreras (13-9-2, 4KOs) in two rounds to retain the WBC Youth silver super bantamweight championship. Vargas has now stopped his last three opponents after doing the ten round distance in back to back bouts last year.
