Former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-1-1, 32KOs) say he is ready for all comers. In an earlier report on BoxingScene.com, IBF/WBA super middleweight champion Carl Froch (33-2, 24KOs) said a deal was very close to face Chavez (33-2, 24KOs) in a Las Vegas defense.

Before a deal can be finalized, Chavez still has to settle the ongoing legal dispute with his promoter Top Rank, who claim the Mexican is still obligated to them for one more fight.

"There has been a lot of talk about Froch, I just hope to sign the contract, we are ready to face it - but we are still ready even if [it's not him and it's] Canelo or Geale, or DeGale and even Hopkins. When the time comes we'll be ready, but the ability to fight Froch is bigger," Chavez told ESPN Deportes.
