Chantelle Cameron will defend her WBC, IBF super lightweight titles against two-weight world champion Victoria Noelia Bustos at The O2 Arena in London on May 21.

The fight will take place on the undercard of the light-heavyweight clash between Joshua Buatsi and Craig Richards, which will be broadcast live on DAZN.

Cameron (15-0, 8 KOs) makes her return after defeating Mary McGee last October, where she added the IBF and Ring Magazine titles to her WBC crown. She had been expected to have a unification battle with Kali Reis next, but will now face Bustos instead.

Bustos (23-6) is a two-weight world champion, having previously held world titles at both lightweight and super lightweight, and Cameron is thrilled to finally be back in action.

Cameron said: “I’m delighted to finally have a date again where I can defend my world titles. It’s been frustrating over the last few months waiting to find out if it would be the undisputed match-up with Kali Reis, but I desperately needed a fight so I’m so excited to face Victoria Bustos.

“October was my last outing so this has been a long time coming. Bustos is a tough opponent and a former world champion, so I’m glad that it is a serious test. She’s only ever lost to world class opposition and has never been stopped before, so I’ll be looking to make a statement on May 21st.

“I’ve been hard at work in Manchester with my coach Jamie Moore over the past couple of weeks and I’m feeling great, so I can’t wait to get back in the ring next month and show everybody once again that I’m the best 140lb fighter in the world.”
