After much evaluation and analysis about the future, Celestino 'Pelenchín' Caballero and his attorney Rogelio Espino came to a decision in Argentina about the right career path for 2011. Next week, they will officially announce Caballero's decision next week to  leave 122-pounds for good and remain full-time in the featherweight division. Caballero is still the WBA's "super champion" at 122, but recently moved up to 130-pounds and lost an upset split decision to Jason Litzau.

"We spoke to' Pelenchín' prior to traveling and we are going to move up to 126-pounds, where we hope to get a high ranking and maybe due to his status as 'super champion,' the WBA will still give him a shot," Espino said.

Meanwhile in Las Vegas, trainer Jeff Mayweather said that "it was very, very frustrating" on what happened in Caballero's loss.

"I feel bad, not only for myself but also for Celestino who worked hard to get big fights and ran into a guy who had the talent that he had [Litzau]."
