Former world title challenger Patrick Nielsen (29-3) could be heading for a comeback after 18 months out.

Nielsen was last seen in a lucrative MMA bout where he was stopped in one. As boxer Nielsen have back to back losses against John Ryder and Arthur Abraham - but the loss to Abraham was close and controversial.

The now 28-year old Dane has had talks with Q Boxing Promotion and a deal, according media in Denmark, is close. Nielsen had previously been promoted by Team Sauerland.

Undisputed female welterweight champion of the world, Norwegian Cecilia Braekhus, has now all of the papers ready for a lengthy stay in the United States and does not have a return ticket back to Norway booked, writes VG.,

As for her next fight, nothing is set and neither is the opponent but Braekhus makes no secrets about that she wants - big fights against the biggest stars out there and that is currently Claressa Shields and Katie Taylor.

But she also makes it clear that she won't move up and down in weight so it will against one of the two mentioned.

Swedish middleweight Shady Gamhour (10-0) is now back after the injury he suffered almost a year ago and will return July 20 in Russia against an opponent to be announced. The comeback was first set for Charlotte, NC, but later changed.

Gamhour is promoted by Roy Jones Jr Promotions and have had all his fights in the US and Mexico.

EBU super welterweight champ Sergio Garcia (30-0) has a mandatory defence coming up against Cedric Vitu with deadline for purse bids set for July 18. However, according to Espabox there is also talks of a fight against Liam Smith (27-2-1) later this year in the UK.
