Oslo, Norway - WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF and IBO female welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus (30-0, 8 KOs) dominated Klara Svensson (17-2, 5 KOs) over ten rounds to win a unanimous decision and retain her unified crown. The scores were 99-91, 99-91, 100-90.

Braekhus was in full control throughout this no knockdown affair. The fight went pretty much as expected as neither lady is known for her power.

Cruiserweight Kai Robin Havnaa (9-0) closed the three fight undercard with an inside the distance win over German Lars Buchholz (27-11). Havnaa dominated the fight and floored Buchholz in the fourth. The German had had enough and didn´t come out for the fifth.

Super middleweight Tim-Robin Lihaug (16-3) suffered what an paper was an upset loss to Czech Tomas Adamek (26-14-2) in an eight rounder. Adamek is a much better fighter than his record indicates and outboxed Lihaug in many of the rounds. At the end it was scored 79-73, 79-74 and 77-76.

For Lihaug it was a tough loss in his first fight at home in Norway and this may end plans - at least for now - for a show in Bergen, which is Lihaug´s hometown.

Light heavyweight Alexander Hagen (9-2-1) started very well against German Benjamin Transfeld (4-3-1) but faded down the stretch in this eight rounder that opened First Lady Promotions show at the Spectrum. Hagen still looked like the winner at the end but it was judged a draw.

News: Joey Gamache, former World champ and now trainer for some of Sauerland Promotion´s fighters in Scandinavia including Klara Svensson, is sidelined with sudden illness and won´t be able to work Svensson´s corner against Cecilia Braekhus later tonight. Instead Svensson´s amateur coach Christer Ekberg will be chief cornerman.

When Sauerland´s Nordic Fight Night hits Sundsvall (Sweden) April 22 it is with heavyweight Otto Wallin headlining. As for opponent Italian champ Gianluca Mandras might be the one with big Russian Apti Davtaev as second choice.

In other action Ewa Piatkowska defends the WBC female super welter against Mikaela Lauren, super middle / lightheavy Oscar Ahlin returns to take on Bernard Donfack in an exciting rematch and super welter Daniel Hartvig is in against Frenchman Bernard Follea.
