Cassius Chaney (21-0) and George Arias (16-0) will square off in a battle of unbeaten heavyweights on December 2nd at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.  The fight is part of the TrillerVerz IV card that has been dubbed "Night of Heavyweights."

The musical portion of the card will take place in Los Angeles, California and will feature a VERZUZ battle between Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia.

In this Q&A, Chaney’s trainer Stephen “Breadman” Edwards discusses the upcoming showdown. Edwards is also a BoxingScene.com contributor and is best known for training former unified champion Julian “J Rock” Williams.

BoxingScene.com: Cassius Chaney has a big fight coming up on Thursday against another unbeaten fighter in George Arias. What are your thoughts on the fight?

Stephen Edwards: It's a good barometer to see where Cash fits in on the heavyweight landscape. I'm looking forward to it. Cash has improved a lot in the gym. I want to see if it carries over to the fight.

BoxingScene.com: Following up, obviously the winner will take a bit leap forward while the loser moves a step back. If everything goes as planned, what are you hoping for in 2022 as far as positioning in the ranks and future fights?

Stephen Edwards: If Cash wins this fight I'm hoping he gets a well known fighter on a big platform in the 1st quarter of next year. We have our eyes on a few guys but I don't want to get into that stuff until after our fight. I have a healthy respect for Arias. He's undefeated and he's a gutsy, scrappy guy.

BoxingScene.com: What are your thoughts on fighting on Triller and the attention the bring to the sport?

Stephen Edwards: I'm happy to be on any big platform with one of my guys. This will be a career high payday for Cash and plenty of exposure. So I appreciate it and I'm honored. This is my first time with a fighter on Triller so I'm looking forward to the experience.
