LOS ÁNGELES – Undefeated contender Casey ‘The Wizard’ Ramos feels that he is very close of accomplishing his goal of fighting for a world title and he knows what he has to do to make his dream come true. Tonight, Saturday, July 16, Ramos will risk his perfect record and world ranking in the main event of the ‘Solo Boxeo UniMas’ card that will take place at the Pioneer Event Center in Lancaster, California.

Ramos (22-0, 5 KO's) from Austin, Texas, will collide against Chile’s Hardy Paredes (18-13, 11 KO’s) in the fight that will be the principal attraction of the card that will be televised at 11 p.m. ET/PT on UniMas.

"I've always wanted the Green Belt, the WBC world title. I fight at 130 pounds and that is the world title I am going after,” said Ramos, who will face Paredes in a 10-round super featherweight bout.

“On Saturday night we are fighting Hardy Parades who is tough with a lot of fights and experience. There's always danger in a fight like this. But I feel good and strong going in. We have a game plan that we are going  to follow,” added Ramos, who will be running as councilman in Austin, Texas.

"I was born and raised in the inner city of Austin and my father taught me abouthow far hard work and discipline can take you. That is a reason I am running for Council in Austin. I want to help people. I will be on the ballot November 8. Can you imagine this? Top Rank is going to have the Fighting Councilman in me and the Fighting Senator in Manny. That's great," said Ramos.

Also tonight undefeated prospect Arnold Barboza Jr. (11-0, 4 KO’s), from South El Monte, California, will clash against Jon David Charles (9-7, 1 KO) in a 6-round super lightweight bout.
