Colombian Carlos "El Olimpico" Tamara and Panamanian Ricardo 'The Mathematician' Nunez are going to collide in a flyweight eliminator for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) title. The fight was announced by Rogelio Espino.

"By the direct order of the president of the IBF, Lindsey E. Tucker, an eliminator was ordered between Nunez and Tamara," said Espino.

This week Espino will begin negotiations to choose the date and venue of the fight.

The winner of this fight will be the official challenger to the current champion, South African Moruti 'Baby Face' Mthalane.

Nunez has a professional record of 23 wins, two defeats and 19 knockouts, while Tamara has improved to 22 wins, 6 defeats, 1 draw and 16 KO.
