Anne Sophie Mathis (23-1, 20 KO ) beat Serbian Duda Yankovich (11-3, 5 KO ) within three rounds at Pontault Combault in France, with almost two thousand spectators at the venue. The former champion faced her best opponent since her return last year. From the beginning of the fight, Anne Sophie tried to land a long left hand. Yankovich blocked most of those attempts and countered with hard right cross.

The second round started on a high pace, with nice exchanges from both sides, but it  Mathis who was always more accurate. The fight was lively and fairly balanced but the French boxer has that little something extra that makes champions: a punch! In this second occasion, she touched Duda with a beautiful left hook to the liver that nearly put the Serbian away but she was saved by the bell.

The third round started strong as Yankovich seemed to have recovered and start moving forward again, but this was short lived as Mathis, again with a left hook to the liver, was able to do serious damage. Following up with a right hand, Yankovich went down and the ref jumped in to stop the fight. Mathis wins the WBO's European title at welterweight.

In another fight, with the WBO's African heavyweight title at stake, Carlos Takam (23-1, 19 KO) defeated defeated Nigerian Gbenga Oloukun (19-7, 12 KO) before seven.

The action was slow at first but in the sixth things finally came alive and the two men went blow for blow Takam was blazing his opponent with uppercuts that forced a knee. Oloukun was unable to come out for the seventh round.

Super featherweight Ali Oubaali (24-3, 19 KO) demolished Georgian Aleksander Vakhtangashvili (7-3-1, 2 KOs) in four rounds of action.

In the third, Ali landed a beautiful left hook to the liver and then a straight right to the face to drop the Georgian boxer twice in the third round. In the fourth round Vakhtangashvili went down hard from a shot to the ribs and was writhing in pain as the referee made a wise decision to stop the match.
