In a duel of Mexican talents, Carlos "Chema" Ocampo beat Jorge Luis "Chino" Garcia by way of a wide unanimous decision in their ten round main event, which took place in the super welterweight division.

Two judges scored 100-90 in favor of Ocampo, and another had it 99-91 also in favor of Chema, who now has a record of 28-1, with 17 knockouts.

The tough fighter from Los Mochis, Sinaloa - "Chino" García - was brave and combative in the ten round bout, but he was unable to deal with the power of his adversary. Garcia's record dropped down to 18-3.

In an upset, Eduardo Hernandez ruined Rafael "Furioso" Guzman's comeback by defeating him by majority decision in a six-round super lightweight bout.

In a fight filled with constant exchanges of hard punches, Hernández got the win with scores of 55-59 and 56-58 in his favor, while a third card marked a draw with an even tally of 57-57.

The native of Ciudad Neza, in the State of Mexico, Hernandez raised his record to 11-4-3, with 3 knockouts, to the delight of former world champion, the legendary Humberto "Chiquita" González, who accompanied the underdog to the event.

For "Furioso" Guzmán it was just the second loss of his career, which leaves his record at 20-2-1, with 12 knockouts.
