IBF junior middleweight champion Carlos Molina (22-5-2, 6KOs) is looking for a fresh start on October 11th in Cancun, when he defends his title against mandatory challenger and former champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage (33-5, 19 KOs). Due to some legal issues, Molina was deported to Mexico earlier this year and he's been inactive since capturing his world title from Ishe Smith last September in Las Vegas.

"I know that bad things will always bring good things. Rather than [view it as] a step back, I see this fight as a chance to restart, to fight in my country, to reach many households in Mexico with Televisa. I want them to know that they have a champion here who is Mexican. Right now we are not thing about going back to the United States, the only focus is this fight," Molina said.

"The preparation is going well. I'm in good shape, I liked it here, something different, and we are in good condition. I struggled at first with the [sea level]. I arrived here nearly two months without training, it took me a little longer to get used to [the height], but since then I've been fine. I don't listen to anyone saying this is an easy fight. They always think I'm an easy fight, but I will not underestimate anyone as they have done with me."
