Mexican Great Erik "El Terrible" Morales  told ESPN Radio in Hollywood, California  that his brother, the WBC super flyweight ranked 9, Iván  Morales, could soon be facing undefeated WBC world champion Carlos "El Príncipe" Cuadras.

Ivan with an undefeated record of 28-0, 16 KO´s  is climbing in the WBC rankings and according to Big Bro Erik, this is the perfect moment to conquer the world title, which is in the grasp and within earshot of the rasps of  Cuadras who also has a pristine record of  32-0-1, 25 KOs.

Erik Morales commented exclusively to A LOS GOLPES of  ESPN that Golden Boy Promotions led by Oscar De La Hoya, has offered them a fight with Carlos Cuadras- a proposal they accepted with alacrity.

“We were offered the world title bout against Carlos Cuadras by the Golden Boy Promotions people.  We replied YES so Golden Boy Promotions is going to present the Carlos Caudras team a formal  proposal. The possibility is very much there, and we are only waiting,” explained the former multi Champion.

“There isn’t a date yet, but my brother just started training again in Tijuana. It would be a great fight between undefeated Mexicans. They had once a sparring session.  I know that isn’t the same  but you can form an idea from that."

Golden Boy Promotions has an excellent relationship with the Japanese enterprise, TEIKEN, which manages Carlos Cuadras' career. It's now a matter of time...as they wait for the Cuadras response.
