Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is open to a variety of fights - with most of the potential opponents residing in the Premier Boxing Champions stable.

First up, Canelo will collide with Billy Joe Saunders on May 8th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The WBC, WBA, WBO super middleweight titles will be at stake.

A victory will position Canelo one fight away from being the undisputed world champion at 168-pounds.

Should he win on Saturday night, Canelo would like to face IBF champion Caleb Plant in the fall.

"That’s what I want, all of the titles in this division. My first move is Billy Joe Saunders, of course I need to win, and then the next champion is Caleb Plant and that’s the goal," Canelo told The Last Stand Podcast with Brian Custer.

Beyond Plant, there are lucrative fights out there with Jermall Charlo, who holds the WBC middleweight title, and two-time super middleweight champion David Benavidez.

"Yes [to Jermall Charlo], why not for the people. Maybe for me it’s hard to make 160 now but lets see for the future," Canelo said.

"[I would fight Benavidez]. Why not, it would be a great fight with David Benavidez. I just want to make fights people want to see."

Charlo, Benavidez and Plant are promoted under the Premier Boxing Champions banner. PBC has exclusive content deals with Showtime and Fox Sports.

When it comes to facing WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade, the Mexican star is not interested.

Andrade competes on the DAZN streaming platform - which is where Canelo has been showcased since late 2018 - but Canelo strongly feels Andrade's record is lacking.

"He’s fought nobody yet, you see the record but he’s fighting with nobody. I have other plans," Canelo said.

The fight with Saunders will be streamed by DAZN.

However, Canelo's next fight may very well take place on a PBC platform like Showtime or Fox Sports.

"Maybe, why not? It’s my last fight with DAZN, I hope to work with Eddie [Hearn] no matter what but why not [fight on a PBC platform] because I want to fight with all the guys in boxing," Canelo said.
