Panamanian Celestino "Pelenchín" Caballero (36-5, 23KOs) would love to challenge the newly crowned super featherweight (130 pounds) champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Miguel Angel "Mikey" Garcia (33-0, 28KOs). This past Saturday night, Garcia scored an eight round knockout over Puerto Rico's Roman "Rocky" Martinez, to snatch the WBO world crown at the American Bank Center in Texas, United States.

The two fighters were scheduled, several times, to face each other in 2012 for the WBA featherweight title. Due to several issues related to money and venue conflicts, the fight fell apart.

"I saw the fight and I am convinced that I would make life miserable for 'Mikey' Garcia. Keep in my mind that I've sunk several large ships in boxing and Mikey would be one of them. Everyone knows the reasons why I was never able to face Garcia in the past. However, the world takes many turns and I'm now ready to challenge him on whatever day and in whatever place he wants," Caballero said.
