The bantamweight title fight between Randy Caballero and Lee Haskins will have Vic Drakulich as its referee.
Drakulich was unanimously approved at the Thursday meeting of the Nevada Athletic Commission. Caballero vs. Haskins is scheduled for Nov. 21 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino on the undercard of the Miguel-Cotto vs. Canelo Alvarez pay-per-view.
Drakulich is listed on BoxRec.com as having refereed one Caballero fight before, early in the boxer’s career, a 2010 decision over Robert Guillen. He has not worked a Haskins bout before.
The judges selected for the bout were Robert Hoyle, Glenn Trowbridge and Steve Weisfeld.
None of those judges is listed as having worked a Caballero or Haskins fight before.
