For the fourth time in his career, Lucian Bute (29-0) will stage a fight in Quebec City. This time, the IBF super middleweight champion has a rendezvous at the Pepsi Coliseum on November 5th, as he faces Glen Johnson (51-15-2), a former world champion who recently lost a split decision to WBC champion Carl Froch in the Super Six semi-finals.

The fight was officially announced during a press conference at City Hall in Quebec, with the mayor Régis Labeaume and the two fighters being present.

Describing the fight as the "biggest challenge in the career of Lucian Bute," coach Stephan Larouche said the two men had been involved in nearly 100 rounds of sparring against each other. At time of their sparring sessions, Bute was preparing for his rematch against Librado Andrade in 2009. That fight also took place in Quebec City and Bute scored a knockout in the fourth round.

The remained of the undercard will be presented in the near future by InterBox. BoxingScene.com has learned, however, that NABO super middleweight champion Renan St-Juste (23-2-1), and prospect Pier-Olivier Côté, should be in action in that evening with opponents being finalized in the near future.
