Kid Galahad will be back in the ring in a couple of months.

The former British super-bantamweight champion, who is now up at featherweight, has been out since last July.

But the 27-year-old will make a comeback on March 3 at the FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield, exclusively live on Sky Sports.

Galahad (23-0, 14 KOs) won the vacant IBF Inter-Continental title in his last fight against Jose Cayetano and will be hoping to extend his ledger before sitting back to watch his Wincobank gym-mate.

Kell Brook will top the bill in his super-welterweight debut against Sergey Rabchenko, returning just 10 months after his second successive orbital bone fracture, and Lee Appleyard will meet Atif Shafiq in an all Yorkshire dust-up in the super-lightweight division.

The card, named ‘Rise Again’, will feature Sam Eggington in his super-welterweight debut after losing his European welterweight title to Mohamed Mimoune last October before admitting that he can no longer make the 147-pound limit.

Also on the card, David Allen will challenge Lenroy Thomas in a rematch for the Commonwealth heavyweight title, while Gavin McDonnell will challenge Gamal Yafai for the WBC International super-bantamweight title.

Boxing Scene understands that Dave Coldwell-trained Jordan Gill will box on the bill, with further additions to be revealed in due course.
