The “Brick City Fight Night Series" heads back to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Oct. 12 to once again showcase some of the best boxing talent from New Jersey, New York City and beyond.

Presented by Rising Star Promotions and Prudential Center, the event is scheduled for 12 bouts involving fighters from flyweight to heavyweight, and the 10-round main event is set to feature Newark’s Michael “Slick” Anderson (24-3-1, 17 KOs). Anderson, a welterweight, has wins against Dashon Johnson, DeMarcus Rogers and Eudy Bernardo, and is currently on a seven-fight win streak.

In the co-feature, meanwhile, bantamweights Emmanuel “Salserito” Rodriguez (15-2, 8 KOs) and Khalid Twaiti (13-0, 5 KOs) will lock horns over 10 rounds.

“This is what boxing is all about: fighters stepping up to take on challenges,” said promoter Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna, also a middleweight contender. “It’s a true blessing to bring an event to Prudential Center. I’m more than happy for this opportunity. This event will be one to remember.”

Another fighter appearing on the Oct. 12 card is Newark’s own Anthony Johns (8-1, 6 KOs), who will fight an opponent yet to be named in an eight-round bout. There will also be a fight for Albanian-born heavyweight Kristian Prenga, who is currently 15-1 (15 KOs) as a pro and will make his second straight appearance at Prudential Center.

Finally, Terell Bostic (12-2, 2 KOs) of Wyandanch, New York, will face Jersey City’s Michael Lee (10-3, 7 KOs) in an eight-round bout at junior welterweight.
