Former world champion Juergen Braehmer of Germany returned to the floorboards on Saturday, securing a knockout victory in the second round against German-born Kosmet, Edi Kadrija, in the main event of a card held at the Sport and Congress Center in Schwerin, Germany.

A brutal left hook to the liver ended with Kadrija, giving Braehmer his third straight win since he was defeated by Nathan Cleverly in October 2016 for the WBA light heavyweight title.

With this victory, Braehmer improved his record to 51-3, with 37 knockouts, while Kadrija fell to 11-2, with 7 knockouts.

On this same evening, the former WBA "regular" super welterweight champion Jack Culcay (26-4, 13 KOs) gained a unanimous decision win over Stefano Castellucci (32-9, 11 KOs) in eight rounds.

Culcay came out looking to compete with his colleagues and get a KO in the first round, but Castellucci withstood the storm. Golden Jack almost won by knockout in the last 30 seconds. No scores were announced.

Former WBA super middleweight champion Tyron Zeuge (24-1-1, 14 KOs), the most recent German to win a world title, scored a knockout in the tenth round of Adan Silvera (11-2, 5 KOs) in a clash for the European Title of the EU.

Silvera went down after he was subjected to a hard shot to the body in the tenth round. Although he got up, the fight was quickly over.
