As previously reported, WBA 'regular' light heavyweight champion Juergen Braehmer (46-2, 34 KOs) will fight again on September 5th in Germany. The information was confirmed by his promoter Kalle Sauerland of Sauerland Event, who handle the boxer.

It is very likely, that the same day heavyweight contender Kubrat Pulev (20-1, 11 KOs) will come back to the ring as well. Everything depends on his shape. It would be the first fight for Pulev since last year's knockout defeat at the hands of WBA/IBO/WBO/IBF heavyweight champion.

Former WBO champion Nathan Cleverly (28-2, 14KOs) has revealed that he agreed to a deal to face Braehmer. Cleverly will first have to win an upcoming return bout on May 30th against an unnamed opponent.

The two fighters had been scheduled to face each other a few years ago, but the fight never came off.

"Terms have been agreed," Cleverly told BBC Radio Wales Sport. "It's just a matter of me getting this next fight out of the way and then we are going to make an announcement."

"I think I'll quite enjoy that [fight taking place in Germany], it will be good. It will probably take that edge off, that pressure off, of the home crowd behind you, so it's just a matter of going out, being ready, being focused and ripping that title from him. I genuinely believe I'm going to do it."

Cleverly returns to 175-pounds after a stint in the cruiserweight ranks. He was beaten in his last fight in November, a rematch with Tony Bellew, by way of a close decision.
