Cameron Krael will find himself in the usual position when he steps inside the ring tonight: facing an unbeaten fighter.

Krael will square off against unbeaten welterweight Bobirzhan Mominov at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The eight-round bout will air live on ESPN (8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT).

Krael (17-15-3, 4 knockouts), who resides in Las Vegas, has faced a variety of fighters, including those who are unbeaten, prospects, and fringe contenders.

In his last bout on February 13, the 26-year-old defeated Ravshan Hudaynazarov by split-decision. The victory snapped a back-to-back losses to Keith Hunter and Gabriel Duluc.

Krael went through a period in 2015-2016 where he lost five bouts in a row. Amongst his losses were to Egidijus Kavaliauskas, Alex Martin, and Roberto Arriaza. He would go unbeaten in his next six bouts and lost only once in 10 fights.

Krael has fought on Top Rank, PBC, and Thompson Boxing cards, but has mostly fought on Mayweather Promotions cards that take place at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas over the last four years.

Mominov (10-0, 8 KOs), who is originally from Kazakhstan and now resides in Kissimmee, Florida, will take a significant step-up in opposition when he squares off against Krael.

The 28-year-old has not fought since March 2019, when he defeated Jonathan Steele by unanimous decision in Costa Mesa, California. The victory snapped a string of four consecutive knockout victories.

Besides fighting in the United States, Mominov has also fought in Kazakhstan and in Argentina.

In the main event, bantamweight contender Joshua Greer (22-1-1, 12 KOs) of Chicago will face Mike Plania (23-1, 12 KOs) of the Philippines in a 10-round junior featherweight bout. Giovani Santillan (25-0, 15 KOs) of San Diego will make his Top Rank debut when he squares off against Mexico’s Antonio DeMarco (33-8-1, 24 KOs) in a 10-round welterweight bout.
