Newly crowned super lightweight champion Terence "Bud" Crawford deeply impressed his promoter Bob Arum with his 6th round knockout of Thomas Dulorme Saturday night in an HBO televised fight. Crawford took a few rounds to get Dulorme's timing down and then exploded with three knockdowns in the 6th round. The last of which ended the fight.

"He's great. He really is super smart. He has the talent and the finishing ability. He's the whole package," said a beaming Arum.

Crawford has drawn over 10,000 fans to his pair of fights in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. While the attendance Saturday night at the University of Texas of Arlington was considerably less, Crawford still drew a sizable continent of fans to the college basketball arena.

"Isn't that something? He has great support - and when we bring him to (Las) Vegas he will bring thousands of people from Omaha to support him," Arum told BoxingScene.com.

As for when his first Las Vegas headline assignment could take place, Arum said, "It could happen this year. We'll see."
