Blane Hyland has been given his first assignment of 2020.

The former Team GB starlet turned professional at the back end of last year and quickly rose to two fights undefeated.

Hyland, from Liverpool, made his debut at home city's Eventim Olympia before getting a win in Bolton, at the Whites Hotel, in December.

And the Salisbury ABC-trained fighter will be back between the ropes on March 7.

Hyland has been confirmed as an addition to an Eddie Hearn- and Matchroom Boxing-promoted card at Manchester Arena, exclusively live on Sky Sports in the UK and DAZN Stateside, that will be headed by a tasty super-featherweight clash between former WBA 'regular' super-bantamweight champion Scott Quigg and ex-IBF world title challenger at 130 pounds Jono Carroll.

The 25-year-old will be joined on the card by heavyweight talent Hughie Fury and British super-welterweight champion Scott Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald, with a win, will set up a rematch against Anthony Fowler, potentially at Preston North End’s Deepdale stadium later this year.

Callum Johnson looks set to meet Igor Mikhalkin in a clash for the vacant European light-heavyweight title and confirmation is awaited of a fight between Zach Parker and Rohan Murdock to determine the mandatory challenger for Billy Joe Saunders’ WBO world title at super-middleweight.

Ibrahim Nadim, who made his professional debut back in December, will return on the card, alongside Aqib Fiaz, former Commonwealth middleweight title challenger Jack Cullen and Sheffield's Dalton Smith.
