Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut - Former featherweight champion Billy Dib (36-2, 21KOs) had some serious struggles at times, as he managed to win a ten round majority decision over Mike Oliver (25-4, 8KOs). The scores were 94-94, 96-92, 96-92.

Oliver stunned Dib in the second. Dib lost a point in the same round after landing a very hard low blow that send Oliver down for a few minutes in pain. Dib lost another point in the third after landing another hard low blow. In the fourth, a cut opened up around the left eye of Dib. Most of the action was being pressed by Dib, but Oliver would land his counter right hand often enough to get the attention of the local crowd.

Emmanuel DeJesus (5-0, 4 KOs) scored a knockdown in the second, but he was unable to stop Rikardo Smith (6-4, 1 KO) and instead won a four round unanimous decision. The scores were 39-36, 39-36 and 40-35.

Undefeated lightweight prospect Mark “Too Sharp” Davis (17-0, 5 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Robert Osiobe (14-6-4, 6 KOs). The scores were 78-74, 78-74 and 77-75. Davis controlled the action early, but Osiobe started to come on strong with a late rally but it was too late to change the tide.
