Billy "The Kid" Dib will make the first defense of his IBF featherweight strap on November 19 against undefeated Italian contender Alberto Servidei in Dib's hometown of Sydney, Australia. No venue has been announced yet. The bout will be promoted by Billy The Kid Promotions in association with Michael K Presents.

The 26-year-old Dib, 32-1 (19 KO), is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jorge Lacierva to win the vacant title in July in Australia.

Servidei, 36, from Emilia Romagna, Italy has a record of 31-0-2 (7 KO) built exclusively in Italy against names unrecognizable to fans outside of Europe.

"To be honest life has not changed," says Dib of the two months since winning the belt. "I've just become busier with meets and greets and alot of functions. The title won't change me, it's just made me a lot happier. Life is good but I also understand it's harder to keep it - the hunter becomes the hunted."
