BEING WRONG ON MOSLEY & STEROIDS

Having lit up Shane Mosley of late in a manner similar to Laura Bush lighting up the White House Christmas tree a few weeks ago, I realize now that I’ve been wrong.  So wrong!  Real Wrong!  You see, I was blaming Shane because he has refused to come clean on the issue of his all but confirmed use of Steroids.  All the while, I should have placed such with his Lawyer Judd Burstein.  And hey, after reading his rant of late regarding the “Steroids” cloud hanging over his client’s head, I’m glad most, if not all of you, realize that Mr. Burstein is merely disseminating propaganda.

MOSLEY ONLY PUG ON LIST OF SUSPECTED CHEATS!

Oh, and in case you didn’t know, the former champion at 135, 147, & 154 lbs., Shane Mosley was subpoenaed by a San Francisco Grand Jury last year along with other athletes.  These included baseball players Barry Bonds and Jason Giambi, scores of Track & Field participants, and NFL players alike that were ALL on a list of people who received Steroids from BALCO Lab head Victor Conte.  Bonds, Giambi, and other athletes, admitted during testimony to taking both “the Clear or the Crème.”   Bonds, the Major League Baseball home run king, and who is built like Zeus, he says he thought that the substances were instead analgesic Arthritis balms.

BALCO STEROIDS STILL THE “HOTTEST” SPORTS STORY!

With BALCO getting busted right around the Shane Mosley-Oscar De La Hoya II fight in September 2003, it took a while for the “G” to realize what they had.  Convinced that Mosley was the recipient of either “the Clear or the Crème,” or both, this was based on Conte’s distribution records as well as his bookkeeping.  Within three weeks of the fight, the FBI went to the Nevada Athletic Commission and asked for Shane’s post-fight “Urine” sample.  This visit to a lab contracted to the Commission was for naught seeing they had routinely destroyed the sample after it had come back “Negative.”

CONTE & OTHERS BRAGGED ABOUT BEATING TESTS!

At that time, “the Clear & the Crème” were totally “Undetectable” in any form of recognized testing.  Thus, like Barry Bond’s Trainer Greg Anderson said while being secretly recorded, “You can take it today, and test clean today!”  I believe that Conte gave these to somebody connected, if not to Shane Mosley himself.  And that from all indications, whether he knew they were Steroids or not, Shane Mosley apparently took them for the only fight he has won in the past three and a half years, De La Hoya II.

EVER READ A “RETRACTION” PENNED BY ME?

No!  A double fortnight ago, Judd pulled his head out of the Mosley’s butt long enough to say this. “Of all the people I respect in boxing, I respect Jin Mosley the most!”  Look, I’m of the opinion that somewhere along the line Judd lost his sight and perception of reality after becoming personally intertwined with Shane and the Mrs.  Like legendary boxing writer Jacob Finkelstein used to say, “If you fall in love with a fighter, all your objectivity goes out the window.”  In Judd’s case, you can interchange fighter with client, but you feel the breeze.

NOTED MAX BOXING SCRIBE WEIGHS IN!

“I don’t think there’s any doubt that he was on something.  But, and this maybe technical, at the time TGH wasn’t illegal,” said Steve Kim of www.MaxBoxing.com An ex-aide said that he too has, “serious suspicions.”  But with some facts at hand, and speculation running wild, the bottom line is that this story is being festered by the fact Judd Burstein will not allow Shane to come clean and tell all!  Mosley is said to have already passed a Polygraph, the results purportedly indicate that he had not knowingly ingested Steroids.  This was another smooth move by the ever so cognizant of public perception Burstein, which at the time took any heat off of Shane for the better part of a year.

SHANE TOOK SUBTANCES PRIOR & ADMITTED SUCH!

Always looking for an edge, Mosley was sickened by his use of Creatine, telling me that it weakened him and that he almost didn’t go make it to and through his initial title winning effort against Phillip Holiday in 1997.  As for Judd, he thinks I should go to jail because I’m trying to get the Grand Jury transcripts that are Shane’s.  I have to believe that if the shoe were on the other foot, that if Judd Burstein been representing Oscar De La Hoya, he would have Fed-Ex’d me those Grand Jury transcripts by now!  The way Judd’s reacting to this, you’d think I was accusing Burstein himself of taking Shane to BALCO Labs, when I didn’t!

JUDD SOUNDS LIKE ALGONQUIN J. CALHOUN TO ME!

Because myself, Dave Meltzer of www.WrestlingObserver.com, Steve Kim, and a number of folks who have followed most, if not all of Shane Mosley’s career, we, in addition to the Government, and an ex-aide, all of these parties think Judd Burstein’s client took performance enhancing Steroids for De La Hoya II.  I believe in time, that upon my retention of the Grand Jury documents, that then I’ll be able to prove that somebody “Juiced” Shane Mosley up for De La Hoya II, if he didn’t himself!
