WBA world featherweight champion Jonathan Victor Barros is waiting for a confirmation of a rematch date of October 14 with Celestino Caballero, tentative for Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Barros won a controversial twelve round decision over Caballero in July. Caballero's team filed a protest, which the WBA reviewed and then ordered an immediate rematch.

"That big mouth spoke very ill of us. He said he being discriminated against. Besides that, he was going around saying that we stole the fight from him. I won't say anything. I want to prove everything with facts. I've changed a lot of things [for the rematch]. Especially in the strategic part. I'll have new sparring partners," Barros said.

"I needed that slap on the wrist to realize that I need to make greater demands [in camp], especially on the defensive end. I watched the fight and I realized that I always had my hands down. This time I have another strategy to fight with Caballero. If he comes to attack, the fight will be a war."
