On November 26th, 2011, WBC Silver welterweight champion Selcuk Aydin and Canada based Romanian Ionut "Jo Jo Dan" Ion will clash in a rematch which will be billed as "Unfinished Business" (in Turkish "Büyük Hesaplasma"). In their first fight in June 2010 Aydin dominated the early rounds knocking down his opponent in the first stanza while Jo Jo not only got up from the knockdown but came back strong and even seemed to get stronger the longer the fight lasted. In the end, Aydin won by split decision.

"Both fighters got something to prove. Both guys think that they still have to settle the score with the other guy. These are perfect conditions for a great fight", says promoter Ahmet Oner.

"I know that I can knock out Jo Jo Dan", states Aydin who is preparing in training camp in Stuttgart, Germany. "I showed before that I can beat him now I want to show that I can stop him. In our first fight he kept on running away and clinching. It didn’t seem that he wanted to fight. It rather looked like dancing than boxing. This time I will not let him get away. He will not hear the final bell."

Of course, Dan has a slightly different point of view to what happened in the first fight and what will happen on November 26th.

"I should have won the first fight and I will win again this time", says Dan who lives and trains in Montreal, Canada. "The judges saw it differently in June 2010. On November 26th I will leave no room for discussion or second opinions. I know that I am the better boxer and I am coming to his country again to prove it."

Aydin vs. Dan II will take place at 7.500 seat "Hayri Gür Spor Salonu" in Trabzon, Turkey, a newly built basketball arena. Selcuk Aydin is convinced that he will have the support of a sold-out home crowd.

"I don’t need any extra motivation for this fight", says Aydin. "But of course, fighting in front of my home crowd is special and means a lot to me. I want to show a great performance for my family, friends and fans. I will not let my city, my country and my people down."
