Orebro, Sweden - Tanzanian-Swedish heavyweight Awadh Tamim won the vacant Swedish title earlier tonight with a sensational come from behind win against local hero Pezhman Seifkhani (now 15-1).

Seifkhani was expected to win and fought as if he knew it. However, Tamim gave his all and kept coming on legs that often were shaky and he was floored in the second but shook Seifkani in a slugfest where the local man punched himself out.

Seifkhani attacked desperately in the third but was very tired and that allowed Tamim to come on strong and floored his opponent twice for a stoppage win at 2.04.

Pezhman Seifkhani paid the price for fighting too many soft opponents for too long.

In the chief support, former WBC and IBO super welterweight champ Patricia Berghult (16-1) got an easy win when Argentinian veteran Maria Elena Maderna retired after two rounds due to a headache after a head clash.
