Eye of the Tiger Management (EOTTM) presented another card in Cuernavaca, Mexico. This event was presented by La Queen, Mise-o-Jeu and Videotron featured the return of heavyweight banger Arslanbek Makhmudov against veteran Czech slugger Pavel Sour.

After a training camp in New York with his coach Marc Ramsay and training partners Joey Dawejko and Adam Kownacki, Arslanbek was in excellent physical condition for his fight against Sour.

The one nicknamed the “Lion” wasted no time and went after hi opponent from the very first moment of their NABA and NABF championship duel that was scheduled for 10 rounds.

After a few good exchanges between the two pugilists, Makhmudov ended the fight in less than one round when he managed to hit the target with the help of a devastating right hand that sent Sour into dreamland. The referee did not even bother to count.

Makhmudov picked up his twelfth victory, with all of his wins coming in by way of knockout.

“I had a great training camp and I was ready. It's been 10 months since I got in the ring because there aren't a lot of boxers who want to face me. I am ready to face anyone. My goal is to become heavyweight champion of the world and I want to face the best in my division,” said Makhmudov during a post-fight interview.

This boxing evening also saw Angel Perez in his second pro fight in less than two months. He faced Carlos Leal Martinez who from the start seemed much smaller than the American but showed a lot of aggression. However, Perez was able to solve the problem that Martinez represented with a technical knockout in the second round with a right hand square on his opponent’s chin.

For his part, Antonio Perez, the twin brother of Angel, also signed a victory by knockout while he sent his opponent to the floor in the fourth round to end hostilities following a devastating blow to Martin Romero Garcia’s liver.
