Firat Arslan, Fatih Keles and Ali Eren Demirezen will defend their WBO regional belts in Turkey

Turkish Boxing Night will take place on May 19th in Trabzon, Turkey. EC Boxpromotion and Erol Ceylan will organize the seven match package, and Birol Topuz and RMO Boxing is co-promoter of the boxing night.

Arslan (41-8-2) , a former WBA cruiserweight world champion, will defend his WBO Inter-Continental Cruiserweight title against Isaac Paa Kweshi Ankrah (14-7-0).

The 47 years old southpaw is happy to come back to his motherland for the second time in his career. Arslan had fought the first time in Turkey in 2017 against Gezim Tahiri. Arslan is well known for his bouts with Marco Huck  and Virgil Hill. The veteran fighter holds the second position in the WBO rankings.

Trabzon-born local fighter Keles (10-0-1) won the WBO European super lightweight title against Rafik Harutjunjan in Germany. The Amateur European champion defended his title against French contender Renald Garrido twice. Keles, a London Olympian, will next face Maxim Churbanov (8-3-1) in Turkey.

Rio Olympian  Demirezen (8-0-0) won the WBO European Heavyweight Title against Rad Rashid in Germany on March 24th of this year. The 28 year-old will face Tornike Puritchamiashvili (11-8-0).

Huseyin Cinkara (11-0) will fight with Yury Bykhautsou (10-15-3) for the vacant German International cruiserweight title. The 33 year-old prepared himself for Tervel Pulev - but Pulev canceled the fight.

German cruiserweight Mario Daser (13-0-0) defeated Ola Afolabi by TKO in Germany on May 19th of last year and won the vacant IBO International and WBO European Title.  Daser will fight in abroad for the first time. His rival is Claudio Morroni Porto (8-3-1)

Turkish amateur champion Seyda Keser (2-0) signed with Birol Topuz’s RMO Boxing Organization. The cruiserweight’s opponent is Giorgi Makishvili (10-33-0). Keser’s promoter Birol Topuz works with WBC Mediterranean heavyweight champion Umut Camkiran.

19 year-old Mexican-Turkish wonderkid, lightweight Tarik Sozer (3-0-0), will face Ikmat Mirzoev (0-1-0).
