After spending a little over two years in professional boxing, the skilled Arnoldo Solano, who has 11 victories and one loss, starts the new year with a tough fight on February 9th at the Roberto Duran Arena in Panama City. Solano is going to face Luis Alberto Rios (15-1-1, 10 KOs) for the Latin flyweight title of the World Boxing Council (WBC) in a ten round fight. Solano's only defeat came by majority decision to aggressive body puncher Felix "Twin" Alvarado last June.

"I'm training hard because I need a good start to this year. I know the challenge is enormous, but I have confidence in my abilities and the work in the gym. I will spare no effort in getting a victory in this fight," Solano said.
