7-time Golden Gloves champion Antton Slaughter moved his professional record to 2-0 last night with a unanimous decision victory over Ronald Green at the Italian American Club in Youngstown, Ohio. Slaughter, promoted by One Punch Productions and managed by former unified lightweight champ Nate Campbell, floored Green in the first round with a devastating right hand. Green, displaying an iron will and the grit to match, rose to his feet and continued on. Green's toughness was on full display in the second round, as Slaughter mercilessly battered him from corner to corner, with several moments where a referee stoppage seemed imminent.

Slaughter continued the assault in rounds 3 and 4, and all 3 judges were in agreement with a 40-35 unanimous decision win for the young prospect. One Punch President Terry J. Trekas went to Youngstown for the show, and was pleased with Slaughter's performance. "I think it was good for Antton to get some rounds in. One of the worst things that can happen for a young puncher is if they keep getting 1st or 2nd rounds KO's everytime out. It's real easy for a kid to start thinking they dont need to train, or this and that, if they're always getting guys out of there early. So this was good for Antton to go the distance, fighting a kid who could take a shot and didnt give a damn" said Trekas. Slaughter's next appearance will be October 29 in Charlotte, NC.

The main event of the Youngstown show featured a battle of undefeated fighters with local hero Jake Giuriceo (now 8-0-1) winning a dominant but competitive 6 round unanimous decision over Floridian Roberto Lopez (now 4-1-2).
