World Fighting Championship touches down near the Pittsburgh area this weekend for their 53rd card.

"This weekend were at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino in the Pittsburgh area,"said Matt McGovern, the founder and president of WFC, which promotes both boxing and MMA.

"The main event is the WBO-NABO bantamweight title fight between (15-0, 8 KO's) Antonio Nieves and Oscar Mojica (9-1, 1 KO). I saw Oscar fight in Dallas and Nievers is top fifteen in the WBO. So that'll be a barn burner but it's lighter guys, so we'll see. But it should be a good fight."

Also on the card is a fighter that was  mentioned by Roy Jones recently on an HBO telecast as a worthy challenger to Gennady Golovkin.

"Morgan Fitch is in the co-main event, he's a middleweight from the Pittsburgh area. So he'll be a good local draw,"said McGovern who adds,''there's a few other fights on the card, a girl who I think is the next 'it' girl, the Ronda Rousey of boxing, Shianne Gist. She's a very attractive girl and she can fight and she's doing her pro debut. People are really excited about her in that area."

Gist is facing Gabrielle Holloway( who's also in her first pro bout) in a welterweight contest.

"So I'm excited to see how that works out for our future shows in that area and maybe bring her around outside of that."
