Anthony Crolla is relishing a 'dogfight' as he looks to take Darleys Perez's world title in Saturday's rematch.

Crolla (29-4-3-KO11) takes on Colombia's WBA world lightweight champion at the Manchester Arena for a second time and is desperate to wash away the agony of July's controversial draw.

The 29-year-old told Sky Sports: "This time I feel the fight will be more explosive, with more exchanges and could end up being a bit of a dog-fight at times. It'll be entertaining for the fans and viewers at home.

"I've got a second bite of the cherry on Saturday and with the controversy surrounding last time and everyone believing I'd done enough to win a world title, I'm going to make sure I go out there and do that.

"We're just tweaking a few things here and there. We don't want to come with exactly the same fight as we did last time because that would be a bit ignorant to fight a world-class fighter like Perez.

"We've taken what worked so well last time and have added a few little things to it. The confidence of being in there for 12 rounds and more than holding my own means I'm going in there certainly not complacent but very confident.

"Last time I had a lot to deal with emotionally and I felt I dealt with it well. With everything that happened last year, this time I've preferred it - it's more business-like and just about the boxing. That's what I like."

Crolla's rematch with Perez follows Martin Murray's attempt to dethrone WBO super-middleweight champion Arthur Abraham in Germany on another packed night of Sky Sports boxing - live on Sky Sports 1 from 8pm.
