Gimnasio TV Azteca, Mexico City - Angel “Camaleón” Ayala, Ubaldo “Baldo” Ilagor and Bernardo “Baby Face” Ruiz resolved their commitments by knockout, in the fights that were broadcast this past Saturday by Azteca 7.

Top rated Ayala (15-0-0, 7 KO's) made quick work of the usually solid and resistant Miguel Ángel "Joyita" Herrera (22-5-5, 8 KO's), whom he liquidated in the first round. The fight only lasted 79 seconds.

Ayala went to the front, connected solid combinations, and hurt Herrera, who wanted to respond, then take refuge against the ropes, but could not stop the aggressiveness of Ayala, who presented a lot of power, speed and aim.

Two power blows to the face staggered "Joyita" and opened a cut on his left eyelid, and the referee immediately stopped the action.

It was the first knockout suffered by “Joyita” in his career, and for Ayala it means a high-impact victory, which could put him on the road to fight for a world championship, even this year.

In other fights, Bernardo “Baby” Face” Ruiz (6-1-0, 3 KO's) from the capital showed talent, boxing and rhythm, to beat Jonathan “Chanito” Torres (6-4-1, 1 KO) from Mexico by technical knockout in the fourth round, in a highly competitive fight and in which both prospects had good moments.

“Baby Face” was aggressive and landed the best punches, while “Chanito” boxed and counter-punched, and in the fourth round, a combination from Ruiz hurt Torres, who was on the ropes, and having no return shots, the referee stopped the fight.

And in a fight that was a special attraction, the undefeated Mexican heavyweight, Ubaldo "Baldo" Iligor (9-0, 8 KO's) extended his undefeated record, beating the experienced Ramón Olivas (17-20-0, 11 KO's) by TKO in the second round.

Olivas, who tried to be competitive in the fight by trading power, could not face the pace and momentum of the young prospect from the Mexican capital.
