Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino, Lemoore, California - Rising heavyweight contender Andy Ruiz Jr. (25-0, 17 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Joell Godfrey (17-15-1, 6 KOs). It was Ruiz's first bout of 2015 and he dominated the action from start to finish, but he was unable to put away Godfrey, who took the fight on two days notice. All three judges had it 80-72.

Super welterweight Danny Valdivia (9-0, 7 KOs) stopped Jeremy Ramos (9-2, 3 KOs) in a battle of high drama. Both fighters went down in the second, and then Valdivia finished Ramos with a big bomb at 1:40 of the sixth.

2012 Olympic silver medalist Esquiva Falcao (11-0, 7KOs)dismantled Zoltan Papp in two rounds. After a feeling out first, Falcao applied pressure in the second and Papp couldn't handle the southpaws combinations. Official time was 1:50 of the second.

In a  battle of undefeated super middleweights Joe Louie Lopez (6-0, 3KOs) had an ugly opening round before taking the bout over in the second and sweeping the last 3 rounds. Rafael 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' Valencia (2-1, 2KOs) gave a good effort but Lopez began timing him coming in. Jude Rate had 39-37 while Salmon and McKight scored a shut out at 40-36 to keep Lopez' record clean.

In a super lightweight bout Eric 'El Gallo' Altimirano (5-0, 4KOs) easily dispatched of Imarjoe Miller (1-4) to remain undefeated. He trapped Miller on the ropes and unloaded putting him down and out at the 2:58 mark of the opening round.
