Ekaterinburg Expo, Ekaterinburg, Russia - Hard-punching and entertaining but relatively unknown Russian cruiserweight Yurr Kashinskiy (17-0, 16 KOs) scored his eighth kayo in a row, annihilating hapless Argentinean opponent Juan Ezequiel Basualdo (11-3-1, 10 KOs) in the third round. Kashinskiy is rated #5 by the IBF, #7 by the WBO, #11 by the WBA and #13 by the WBC.

In his second fight for more than two years, still not overly aged (at 32) Russian heavyweight Andrey Fedosov scored a solid win over American gatekeeper Joey Dawejko (19-6-4, 11 KOs), 28. Fedosov scored a unanimous decision over ten rounds.

Dawejko has lost his second consecutive fight, losing before to Bryant Jennings in May. Meanwhile, Fedosov came back after a long period of inactivity with the first-round blowout of familiar foe in Francisco Mireles. He is on a good streak (7-0, 6 KOs) since losing to Jennings in 2013. Fedosov's overall record is 31-3, 25 KOs.

Russia-based Tajik bantamweight Zafar Parpiev (6-1, 1 KO) is expected to crack the IBF rankings in his weight class, following his unanimous decision over younger but more experienced Filipino Jake Bornea (14-2, 7 KOs), who is 23 years of age. Parpiev, 30, acquired a vacant IBF Asia 118lb title.

WBA #5 middleweight Magomed Madiev (12-0-1, 4 KOs) came back from the only blemish of his career - a split draw against Guido Nicolas Pitto in his latest fight in July - and decisioned Uzbek import Azamat Ergashev (9-3, 7 KOs) unanimously over ten. With the win, Madiev, 24, retained his WBA Asia 160lb title for the second time.
