Andrew Cain will be back between the ropes this week.

The undefeated Liverpudlian has been out of action since April.

Cain, who is a big prospect on Merseyside, is promoted by Frank Warren and Queensberry and trained by Paul Stevenson at Everton Red Triangle.

The 25-year-old has seven wins since turning professional, with all but one coming early, and after being taken the distance by Stephen Jackson at York Hall in Bethnal Green, London, he will now be looking to get another win in double-quick time.

Cain has been confirmed as an addition to his promoter’s next show at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on Saturday, exclusively live on BT Sport.

Zach Parker defends his WBO International super-middleweight title at the top of the card when he takes on Marcus Morrison, the former WBC International Silver middleweight champion, over 10 rounds, with Uriel Lopez having been named as Cain’s opponent on the night.

Lopez, a Mexican, has a record of 13-15-1 with six quick and was last in action in December last year. He is on a five-fight losing streak and Cain will be hoping to inflict yet another defeat on the 26-year-old’s record when he faces him over six rounds.

Nathan Heaney will fight for the vacant IBO International middleweight title on the card against Sladan Janjanin, while there is a debut outing for bantamweight Raheem Muhammad.

Denzel Bentley returns, after being stopped inside three rounds by Felix Cash back in April, in a 10-round clash against once-defeated Sam Evans, Ryan Garner is back over eight rounds against Pedro Manuel Gomes and super-featherweight talent Macaulay Owen will be looking to build on his successful debut at the same venue last month.

Willo Hayden fights Lee Connelly over six rounds, welterweight Dylan Moran makes his Queensberry debut having signed for the promotional outfit in August and five-time national amateur champion and Commonwealth Youth Games gold medallist Eithan James will don the gloves for a seventh time against Stu Greener over eight.
