Dunkin Donuts Center, Providence - WBO middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade (28-0, 17 KOs) dropped and dominated Maciej Sulecki (28-2, 11 KOs) over twelve rounds of action. All three judges saw it a one-sided 120-107.

Sulecki came out jabbing, while Andrade came out firing big shots and dropped Sulecki in the opening minute. Sulecki beat the count, as Andrade pressed forward throwing more big shots as he was looking for an early knockout.

The second had a different look, with Sulecki being defensive as Andrade boxed. Andrade went back on the attack in the third, coming forward with combinations on Sulecki, who mostly looked to survive.

Andrade stunned Sulecki at the end of the fourth and unloaded with punches until the bell. For the next few rounds, Andrade was dominating the action by easily outboxing Sulecki.

Now Andrade is targeting a showdown with WBC, WBA, IBF champion Canelo Alvarez, who has an exclusive deal with streaming service DAZN - as does Andrade.

Canelo is looking to fight again on a date in September. He was recently made the WBC's "franchise" champion - while Jermall Charlo was bumped from interim to full champion at the weight.

"Sulecki was a great fighter. Top 10 guy and he came after it all night and let me utilize my tools. I gave people another great 12 rounds of boxing. I used my jab. Sulecki is no pushover. He ain’t no Steve Rolls, ain’t no Rocky Fielding. So Canelo, where your cojones at? Let’s get it,” Andrade said.

“Forget the WBC sh*t. Whatever that ‘Franchise’ belt is. Let’s go, Canelo. Let’s unify this division. Let’s have one champion. It’s right here. Let’s do it. No more running, no more games. Let’s put it all on the line and see who is the best. Mano a mano. Viva Mexico!”
