MIAMI--All of the pre-Super Bowl boxing drama has been saved for the ring.

Demetrius Andrade and Luke Keeler did their job at the scale, as did every other boxer slated to appear Thursday evening on DAZN, live from Meridian at Island Gardens in Miami, Florida.

Both main event participants were inside the 160-pound middleweight limit. Providence’s Andrade (28-0, 17KOs) checked in at a SNAC-conditioned 159.6 pounds for the third defense of his middleweight title reign. Luke Keeler (17-2-1, 5KOs) weighed in at 159.4 pounds.

Andrade was last seen in the ring in a 12-round virtual shutout of Poland’s Maciej Sulecki last June in his hometown of Providence, Rhode Island. The 2008 U.S. Olympian and unbeaten two-division titlist claimed his middleweight strap in a 12-round win over previously unbeaten Walter Kautondokwa in October 2018.

Keeler enters his first career title fight, as well as the first stateside appearance for the Dublin, Ireland native. He enters the bout on the heels of a 10-round win over Milwaukee’s Luis Arias last August.

Their bout is one of three title fights on the card.

Philadelphia’s Tevin Farmer (30-4-1, 6KOs) came in right at the 130-pound limit for the 5th defense of his junior lightweight title reign which began in August 2016. Joseph ‘Jo Jo’ Diaz came in at 129.8 pounds, as the 2008 U.S. Olympian from Downey, California looks to come through in his second attempt at a major title.

Unified junior featherweight titlist Daniel Roman and mandatory challenger Murodjon Akhmadaliev both made weight for their 122-pound title fight. Los Angeles’ Roman (27-2-1, 10KOs) checked in at 121.6 pounds for the 5th attempted defense of his title and first as a unified champion. Uzbekistan’s Akhmadaliev (7-0, 6KOs) weighed 121.6 pounds, as the precocious contender—a 2016 Olympic Bronze medalist—weighed 121.4 pounds for his first career title fight.

Also on the show are a pair of YouTube personalities, both of whom officially turn pro. Jake Paul weighed 191.8 pounds for his special six-round attraction versus AnEson Gib (real name Ali Loui Al-Fakhri), who weighed 188 pounds.

The show streams live Thursday evening on DAZN, with televised undercard action beginning at 7:00pm ET.
