One of the best female fighters of all time, Ana Maria Torres (28-3-3, 16KOs), 35-yers-old, is planning to return to the ring by the end of the year or early next year.

Torres walked away from sport in 2012 to focus on her family. She was unbeaten since 2007 and the WBC super flyweight champion during much of that time period. She had to massive fights in Mexico with rival Jackie Nava. Their first bout ended in a draw with Torres winning a decision in the rematch.

Her last fight was held on March 31, 2012, when she stopped Colombia's Maria Andrea Miranda by TKO in four rounds at the Auditorium in Los Cabos.

A third meeting with Nava would be a major event in Mexico. Ironically Nava just walked away herself, to focus on the birth of her second child. Nava is expected to fight again in the future.
