Amy Timlin has signed a new managerial deal.

The undefeated 20-year-old, from Warwickshire, has raced to 4-0 since turning professional back in May last year.

Timlin is trained by Kieran Farrell and it was announced on Wednesday that the bantamweight had inked a pact with David Coldwell and Coldwell Boxing.

“I’m delighted to welcome the first female boxer to the Coldwell Boxing management stable,” Coldwell wrote on Instagram. “Women’s boxing is flying, thanks to the achievements of [Katie Taylor] & now [Terri Harper].”

Taylor, from Bray in Ireland, is the undisputed lightweight world champion, with the WBC, WBA Super, WBO, IBF and Ring Magazine belts as part of her collection, and she also holds the WBO world super-lightweight title, while Harper outpointed Eva Wahlstrom back in February to add the WBC female super featherweight crown to the IBO belt that she won last July against Nozipho Bell at the Magna Centre in Rotherham.

“At only just 20 years old, I believe Amy can follow them to the top!”

Timlin, last in action in December in Bolton, is excited about the future after the move was revealed.

“[This is] just the start of something big,” she said. “I’m really happy to announce this move and I can’t wait to see how far I can go in the sport.”
